The Meizu U20 was announced in August 2016 and released the same month, but it has since been removed from the market. This smartphone, with an elegant design, measures 153 x 75.4 x 7.7 mm and weighs 158 g. With its Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual standby) configuration, it offers flexibility of use.
The 5.5-inch screen uses IPS LCD technology with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels , providing image sharpness with a density of approximately 401 pixels per inch. Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection adds a layer of durability to the display.
Under the hood, the Meizu U20 is powered by Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Flyme UI. It integrates the Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset and an octa-core processor (4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.0 GHz Cortex-A53), accompanied by the Mali-T860MP2 GPU.
In terms of memory, it offers two configurations: 16 GB of storage with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage with 3 GB of RAM, using eMMC 5.1 technology. The storage capacity can be expanded thanks to the presence of a microSDXC slot shared with the SIM card.
The 13 MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF autofocus offers features like dual-tone flash, HDR and panorama, recording video in 1080p at 30 frames per second. For selfies, the Meizu U20 is equipped with a 5 MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
On the connectivity side, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/ n dual-band, Bluetooth 4.0, A2DP, LE, as well as GPS and GLONASS positioning. The smartphone has a set of sensors, including a fingerprint sensor (front-mounted), accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and compass.
Finally, the Meizu U20 is powered by a non-removable 3260 mAh Li-Ion battery. Available in different colors such as black, silver, gold and rose gold, it was marketed under the models MZ-U20 and U20.
