The Lenovo K5 Plus was announced in February 2016 and went on sale in April of the same year, but is now discontinued. With dimensions of 142 x 71 x 8mm and a weight of 142g, the phone features a sleek build, combining a glass front, aluminum/plastic back and aluminum frame. It offers 16GB internal storage with 2GB of RAM and supports storage expansion via a dedicated microSDHC card. When it comes to photography, the phone is equipped with a camera 13 MP main camera with features such as autofocus, LED flash, HDR and panorama, capable of recording video in 1080p at 30fps. The selfie camera is a 5 MP unit with an f/2.8 aperture.
In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo K5 Plus offers options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, FM radio and a microUSB 2.0 port with support OTG function. Sensors include accelerometer and proximity. The removable 2750 mAh Li-Ion battery powers the phone.
Available in Silver and Gold colors, the Lenovo K5 Plus offers decent performance, as evidenced by the test results, with a score of 884 on Basemark OS II 2.0 and 4863 on Basemark X. The screen sports a nominal contrast ratio of 998, while the camera offers solid photo and video capabilities. The audio quality is also notable, with a speaker producing crisp, clear sound. The battery offers decent battery life, with an endurance rating of 62 hours.
